Rolls-Royce introduces its first ever All-Terrain High-Bodied Car — or more commonly known as SUV for mere mortals like us — the Cullinan.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan borrows its name from a rare diamond that is part of the British Crown Jewels and takes its place as the Crown Jewel of SUVs. Based on the same aluminum Architecture of Luxury platform as the new Phantom, the Cullinan is powered by a re-worked 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces 563-hp and 627 lb-ft of torque to propel this massive SUV to 60 in adequate time — because 0-60 numbers are so vulgar.

Just like the Phantom, the Cullinan should be able to retain Rolls-Royce’s famed Magic Carpet Ride, gliding over any terrain. Unlike Land Rovers that offer a multitude of different off-road modes, the Cullinan has one single ‘Off-Road’ button that simplifies the process by allowing the vehicle to scan the road ahead and adjust itself to best suit the terrain ahead.

Inside, typical Rolls-Royce luxury touches abound, as the car bathes its occupants with all sorts of luxurious materials like leather and wood you would expect from a vehicle in this class. The vehicle is also packed with tech features such as Night Vision and Vision Assist, all-around cameras, a host of safety features including Active Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist, WiFi hotspot, and the latest in navigation and entertainment options to list a few.

Prices start at an eye-watering $325,000 and will likely climb significantly depending on options, but for the ‘Ultra High Net Worth Individual’ that Rolls-Royce is after, it should be cash well spent to have the best SUV — excuse us, All-Terrain High-Bodied Car — in the world.
