Paul Stephens Limited Edition Le Mans Classic Clubsport

£250,000 learn more

Porsche specialist Paul Stephens has made a name for himself by lovingly modifying classic Porsche 911s with modern features and performance. Their latest mouthwatering creation is the limited edition Le Mans Classic Clubsport based on their Clubsport model.

The main difference between the Le Mans Classic Clubsport and the company’s Clubsport model is less weight. If the wisdom of the great American-German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe were to be applied here, then less is indeed more in this case, offering more performance as well as a higher price tag starting at around £250,000.

Weight reduction has been achieved via a lightweight body panels as well as a rigorous diet inside as well, with lightweight carpeting, no soundproofing, and even removing one of the sun visors. Powered by an air cooled, 300-hp 3.4-liter flat-six, the engine also benefits from lightweight components.

On top of costing more than a new 911, the Paul Stephens Le Mans Classic Clubsport will also be limited to only 10 examples, with owners taking delivery at the 2020 Le Mans Classic race meet.
