1976 International Scout II Traveler

$43,900 learn more

Produced by the respected truck manufacturer International Harvester from 1961 to 1980, the Scout is widely regarded as a predecessor of the modern SUV with its heavy-duty construction and its rugged off-road capabilities. International Harvester built both the Scout and the second-generation Scout II with four-wheel drive capabilities and a removable hard top.

The Atlanta-based classic vehicle sales and brokerage house Motorcar Studio recently acquired a customized version of this exceptional truck with only 58,796 miles and a finely retuned 304 cubic inch V8 engine. Motorcar is offering a 1976 model of the Scout II Traveler: the long-wheelbase version of the Scout II with ample extra cargo space behind the rear seat.

A thing of beauty to behold, this matte white vehicle is contrasted by its jet black hardtop, rally stripe, SS2 grille, and custom GRC front and rear bumpers. To get you over that rough terrain, it also features 17-inch Mickey Thompson Deegan tires and a 4-inch Rough Country lift.
