Artist Ashley Wood and his toy line 3A Toys releases a rather unique take on everyone’s favorite comic book villain, the Joker. The ThreeA 1/6 Scale Steel Age Joker is their second DC Comics action figure from the “Steel Age” line, which reimagines the heroes and villains from DC as robots. We’ve seen Steel Age Batman in 2016, and now the Clown Prince of Crime finally hits Gotham as yin to Batman’s yang.
The figure stands 13.5 inches tall and is fully articulated, equipped with LED illuminated eyes, extra hands, pistols, detachable “BANG!”s, and a tailored purple fabric suit. Designed and sculpted by Ashley Wood, this fresh interpretation of the Joker encapsulates Wood’s distinct artistic style and incorporates it into the comic book icon.We expect nothing less from the artist known for illustrating Metal Gear Solid and from his multiple toy universes (World War Robot, Popbot, and Adventure Kartel, just to name a few).
