SJA III by Casas de Mexico

Embedded directly into a rugged and rocky hillside, this beachfront holiday cabana is almost invisible amid a scenic wonderland of geographical formations.

A residential architecture and construction firm with more than 20 years of design experience, Casas de Mexico shows off its prowess with its new beachfront holiday cabana SJA III in San Juan de Alima. Embedded directly into a rugged and rocky hillside, this residence is almost invisible amid a scenic wonderland of geographical formations and lush vegetation.

The interior spaces of SJA III continue to revel in natural tones, incorporating plenty of exposed wood walls, ceilings, and features. Several retractable outside walls can readily transform interior living areas into a massive open-air pavilion with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

The highlight of SJA III, however, has to be its spectacular outdoor pool. Explicitly designed to resemble a tide pool, it mirrors countless environmental pools along the beach that empty and fill with changing ocean levels. Just like the residence itself, the pool shares multiple structural surfaces with the surrounding natural rock faces.
