Beloved by legions and enjoyed ironically by countless others as a “so bad that it’s good” cult classic, the 1996 motion picture Space Jam is a tour de force of pop culture madness. Teaming all-time basketball great Michael Jordan with an animated Bugs Bunny, this curiously compelling movie also stars Bill Murray alongside countless NBA stars and Looney Tunes characters.
Some two decades after the original theatrical release of Space Jam, the Tokyo-based toy company Medicom is releasing Bearbricks of both Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian in their Space Jam basketball uniforms (Bugs competes on the court while Marvin acts as referee). Both characters come in diminutive 100% editions and large-scale 400% editions. Marvin the Martian also comes in an absolutely massive 1000% edition. All of these limited edition figures are currently available for preorder in advance of their official release in November 2018.
