Fans of electronic music, or any modern music in general for that matter, should be familiar with the unique sounds produced by synthesizers. It’s become the cornerstone of modern music, where the ability to manipulate sound and tweak every detail has offered musicians infinite possibilities. Although various forms of electronic instruments have existed since the early 20th century, it wasn’t until the ‘70s that main stream musicians embraced synthesizers. As a tribute to iconic synthesizers from the ‘70s, while adding his signature hand-crafted touch, Swedish designer Love Hulten has created the Voxarray 61 Synthesizer.

The unique Ash wood body rests on four steel stands, with a clamshell construction that opens to reveal the keyboard. The joystick like ball handle can be detached to double as a control for pitch and modulation, while the top lid houses an array of analog and digital audio modules. Like most module synthesizers, they all connect using a variety of patch cords, creating a matrix patching system. To use external devices, just patch them through the matrix. Add the custom-made dynamic microphone on the top to complete the setup.
