Michael Jordan’s legendary career made him a basketball God. The season that solidified his position in the history of the NBA would have to be the 95-96 season, where he lead the Bulls to an astonishing record of 72-10.

To commemorate this incredible achievement, the Jordan brand is planning to launch a special edition of one of its Jordan sneakers, and what better silhouette than the iconic Jordan 11. The new colorway is rumored to make more extensive use of leather, even replacing the mesh portion. The patent leather, which is arguably what makes an 11 an 11, will stay with some minor patterns added to match the rest of the silhouette.

Scheduled to launch in time for the holidays on 12/19 for $220, the hype around this pair is already building up. Best of luck to you all hoping to cop one for the holidays.
