When Ferrari first hit the streets in the 1940s it set the standard for what a luxury sports car and a fierce machine could be. More than seven decades later it continues to define Italian craftsmanship and racing standards.
Though if owning the real thing is a bit out of budget, the next best thing is to snag a piece of Ferrari heritage. Ray-Ban’s Ferrari Scuderia Collection does just that. In combining the tradition, innovation, and passion that Ferrari is known for the world over, Ray-Ban incorporates the same aesthetic into this sleek group of eyewear.
Featuring design flourishes in Ferrari’s signature Rosso Corsa (Race Red) and Modena Yellow, in a nod to Italy’s official national racing color, the sunglasses are infused with Italian sporty style in Ray-Ban’s signature packaging. The signature side notches on the front of the Wayfarer Lite Force – RB4196M come in the red and yellow that are synonymous with Ferrari, while the ergonomically designed RB4228M and RB8313M feature steel and rubber temples and nose pads in yellow or red.
Ray-Ban has also introduced innovative new features and shapes via the RB3548NM which rounds out the traditional sunglass frames into a hexagonal shape with leather temple tips reminiscent of a Ferrari interior. The RB2447NM model further reinterprets the classic Ray-Ban appearance into a sleek, modern look inspired by fine automobile design.
Each frame in the Ray-Ban Ferrari Scuderia Collection features the Ferrari Scuderia Shield engraved on the left lens and comes packaged in a special edition embossed and embroidered case. The collection is available on the Ray-Ban website.
