Imagine collections of the world’s most interesting museums condensed down into a display that could easily fit into your pocket or the palm of your hand. That’s what the Mini Museum provides: billions of years of human, natural, and scientific history reduced to a compactly curated slab of acrylic.

Available in both a large (5x4x1 inches) and small (4x3x1 inches) version, the third edition of the Mini Museum traces the development of life from the core of an asteroid in the construction of the solar system right up to age of Apple through a piece of one of Steve Jobs’ famous black turtlenecks. Housed in a slice of clear Lucite acrylic, each Mini Museum features actual, real life, authentic specimens gathered from all over the world over centuries. The large edition includes 29 of these unique objects, including the oldest piece of earth (topping out at 4,374,000,000 years), to a sliver of a giant sloth claw, to a fragment of a 10th Century Viking axe, to a part of the World War II Enigma machine, and even a slice of Prince Charles and Diana the Princess of Wales’ Royal Wedding Cake. The small edition encases 12 specimens that are also included in the large edition, from sediment from the world’s oldest river (400,000,000 years old), to a shaving from a 14th Century Samurai sword, to a piece of rough Australian opal, to a bit of Pelé’s soccer ball, to Steve Jobs’ turtleneck.

Each Mini Museum arrives wrapped in a bespoke micro-fiber pouch and packaged in a display box, with a certificate of authenticity. The included Companion Guide also has information about each of the Mini Museum specimens so you can wow your friends and family with your newly acquired knowledge.
